< align=left>Marcia Cross, Nicollette Sheridan, Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman will return to television screens in the US later this month for Desperate Housewives. <BR>And by the looks of things the fourth season will be the raunchiest yet.</P>< align=left>Trailers being shown in the States now feature Teri Hatcher's character, Susan Mayer, lounging on a bed in her lingerie with her legs in the air.</P>< align=left>Lynette Scavo - played by Felicity Huffman - is seen wearing a short black wig.</P><P align=left>And the mystery surrounding the apparent suicide of Nicollette Sheridan's character, Edie Britt, looks set to be resolved.</P><P align=left>She appeared to kill herself in a cliff-hanger episode at the end of series three.</P><P align=left>In previews she is seen attaching a scarf around her neck and standing on a chair before the camera cuts to her leg, dangling in the air.</P><P align=left>Creator Marc Cherry has promised the Wisteria Lane-set show will return with a bang.</P><P align=left>He recently revealed that Sheridan's character will return to the show.</P><P align=left>And he told how a gay couple is also set to move into Wisteria Lane, and are set to shake things up.</P><P align=left>Cherry told a US newspaper: "I'm going to have the first male Desperate Housewife. They move on the street, and they have as many issues as any couple."</P><P align=left>The new season premieres in the US on September 30 and is expected to air in the UK next year.</P><P align=left>It has been advertised with the slogan: "It's A Hell Of A Day In The Neighbourhood".</P><P align=left>It had been speculated that Edie might replace Brenda Strong, whose character Mary Alice has been narrating the show from beyond the grave since the series began.</P><P align=left>Meanwhile, the reason Bree (Marcia Cross) has staged a fake pregnancy will be explained and Felicity Huffman's Lynette will continue her battle with cancer, Cherry added.</P>
